Alliances and Collaborations
Alliance and Licensing Opportunities
Cyclacel remains interested in the following alliance frameworks:
- Cyclacel will seek to partner programs after establishing proof-of-concept in man to diversify its late stage development risk. Through informed early development and efficient and innovative clinical trial designs, Cyclacel will derisk development programs prior to seeking a partner. For example, through the use of its randomized discontinuation design employed in the on-going seliciclib Phase II APPRAISE trial, Cyclacel will minimize the financial exposure inherent in traditional drug development while securing early the critical clinical information needed to make an informed go/no-go development decision.
- Cyclacel seeks strategic partners in well defined therapeutic areas where the partner may realize benefits to both their internal programs and Cyclacel programs through the application and association of Cyclacel's internal cell cycle expertise, compound and target libraries, and entrepreneurial efficiencies.
- Where appropriate, Cyclacel seeks early stage partners with unique program specific requisite expertise. Such representative programs may encompass Virology, Inflammatory Kidney Disease, and Diabetes.
In all cases, Cyclacel will look to retain the right to continue to build on its existing commercial infrastructure.

Evaluation and Screening
Cyclacel’s in-house library of ATP-competitive inhibitor compounds contains several lead chemotypes with high selectivity for different protein kinases including GSK-3 and CDKs. Cyclacel has established an access program around its proprietary kinase inhibitor library to promote the development of selected compounds in anti-infective, autoimmune, cardiovascular, ophthalmic and other non-oncology indications. Evaluation and screening arrangements are available.
